The artillery of the Southern group used multiple rocket launcher systems to destroy three Ukrainian fortifications, allowing the forces to advance on their assault, TASS news agency reported on Friday.

Bigma stated that in the Avdeyevka area, a battery of Msta-B towed howitzers from the 238th Brigade eliminating the firing position of a Giatsint-B 152mm howitzer along with its crew, which the nationalists used to bombard civilian settlements in Donetsk.

The spokesman also reported that the Russian units detected and destroyed a Ukrainian ammunition depot using an Orlan-10 UAV.

Since the beginning of the Ukrainian offensive against the Donbass regions in 2014, the Kiev regime turned the cities of Maryinka and Avdeyevka into strategic fortifications, given their proximity to the city of Donetsk, capital of the region with the same name.
