The news of the pact between Belgrade and Pristina was announced the day before by the head of the European Union (EU) diplomacy, Josep Borrell, after 12 hours of talks in Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Our President (Recep Tayyip Erdogan) held separate meetings with both the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the document expressed.
The day before, Vucic assured that his country, and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo, had reached an understanding on several points of the settlement plan for Kosovo and Metojia, proposed by the EU and the United States.
According to the proposal, state documents and symbols will be mutually recognized, and Serbia must compromise not to prevent Kosovo from joining international organizations.
