UH Rector Miriam Nicado will speak about UH´s works, founded in 1728.
On Monday, Nicado held talks with professors, students and members of solidarity groups, and Cubans living in Panama on the scope of the cultural work initiated since the triumph of the Revolution in 1959. The literacy, reading and social development campaigns in the communities, as well as the promotion of university centers throughout Panama, were major issues addressed by Nicado.
During the meeting, organized by the National Education Workers Union, Nicado stressed the processes promoted by higher education in Cuba.
