More than 90 delegates from various member countries of this bloc composed of the 20 largest economies of the world, as well as from nations invited by the Indian presidency and international organizations, are participating in this meeting.
The first meeting of the G20 Sustainable Finance Working Group was held in Guwahati, a city in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam, on February 2 and 3.
The agenda will go beyond climate-related issues to engage in a dialogue to improve financing for selected Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting will be chaired by the Finance Secretary of the Government of India and will be attended by international experts and officials from the national and state executives.
The visiting delegates will also learn about the rich culture and heritage of the city of Udaipur through excursions, cultural events, and local cuisine.
