Russian Black Sea Fleet repels attack on Sevastopol

Moscow, Mar 22 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Black Sea Fleet repelled a surface drone attack launched against the port of Sevastopol, on the Crimean peninsula, as reported by the governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev.

The official reported this Wednesday on Telegram that Russian seamen thwarted the attack consisting in three unmanned vehicles, which attempted to enter the bay.

Razvozhayev also reported that the air defense shot down a UAV launched by Ukrainian troops deployed near Ochakov as it approached Sevastopol.

In his information, the governor specified that the Russian ships were not damaged in the incident, but the windows of several buildings near the entrance to the port were smashed.

No one was injured despite the explosions of the drones, Razvozhayev added.
