Barcelona to host congress on urban landscape

Madrid, Mar 23 (Prensa Latina) Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Afghanistan, and Spain will attend here, the International Congress on the Urban Landscape from March 29 to 31.

The event, called ICOUL, will be held in Barcelona to disseminate strategies and tools for managing urban landscape uses for good local governance.

The event’s organizers stated in a press release on Thursday that 100 delegates, companies, and experts from different disciplines are expected to participate.

Sponsored by Barcelona City Council and the “La Caixa” Foundation, ICOUL 2023 aims to recognize the role of civil society and the importance of the private sector, and convince governments and society that investing in the urban landscape is beneficial for all.

At the same time, a special event will be held: “Barcelona is beautiful, Barcelona is the people” to pay tribute to different prominent figures who have contributed in recent decades to the development of the city.
