The appointment, to be attended by President of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso, will be made effective within the framework of the 28th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government that will take place next Friday and Saturday in the Dominican Republic,

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, Ecuador will assume this role for the first time and will focus its year in office on the areas of innovation, inclusion and sustainability.
