In an interview with Prensa Latina, Jose Antonio Toledo, one of the coordinators of the solidarity platform, said that they would organize an online tournament to accompany Aleida Guevara’s idea of reminding her father.

We talked to Aleida and suggested to her to launch an online event from “Europe for Cuba” on Saturday, June 10th, to support the activities that will take place on Che’s birthday in Cuba,” he said.

According to Toledo, the intention is that people globally can participate, with the possibility that solidarity with Cuba in Europe and across the world, could contribute with their own initiatives for the day.

The platform’s coordinator announced that videos and photos of the different activities would be broadcasted that day in homage to Che Guevara.
