International Health Fair closes its doors in Venezuela

Caracas, Mar 31 (Prensa Latina) The International Health Fair of Venezuela (FisVen) 2023 will close here today with the presentation of new articles by national and foreign experts, and the exchange of knowledge among the attending delegations.

On its first day, more than 3,500 persons, according to the Ministry of People’s Power for Health, visited the stands set up in Los Caobos Park in Caracas, where 13 countries are participating, five of them with stands such as Cuba, Bolivia, Iran, China and Russia.

On the eve of the event, specialists discussed current issues, such as: patient safety, technology and health, and post-Covid health, a topic in which the Vice-Minister of Ambulatory Health Networks, Joicymar Rivas, highlighted the cooperation of Cuba, China, Iran and Russia.

She pointed out that, Venezuelan and Cuban doctors successfully, with a lot of work, faced the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the agenda, a panel on the impact of common challenges to international medicine is scheduled for Friday and in which Cuba will be represented by the outstanding doctor Felipe Delgado Bustillo, a specialist in hygiene and epidemiology.

Inaugurating the event, Venezuela’s Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, said that FisVen serves for the exchange of experiences under the concept of health sciences for all.

She said that it will also contribute to strengthen, from home, the Public Health System of the Bolivarian Republic and also mentioned the Barrio Adentro Mission ‘with the doctor at home’ in the attention to the family and the people.

Rodriguez assured that this is the legacy left by Commander Hugo Chavez (1954-2013) and reinforced by President Nicolas Maduro.

The also Minister of Economy and Finance highlighted that this Mission, promoted with the help of Cuba, was one of the fortresses to overcome and control Covid-19 pandemic.

The Venezuelan people are living another moment after the pandemic, she said, and mentioned the nations that contributed with the sending of doctors, medicines, and equipment and extended their hands in the hardest moments of the viral disease, among whom she mentioned China, Russia, Cuba, Iran and Türkiye.

When there were States that denied everything, including vaccines, these countries ‘offered their hands of solidarity’, she underlined.

Feria Internacional de la Salud cierra sus puertas en Venezuela.

Caracas, 31 mar (Prensa Latina) La Feria Internacional de la Salud de Venezuela (FisVen) 2023 cerrará hoy aquí con la presentación de nuevas ponencias por expertos nacionales y extranjeros, y el intercambio de saberes entre las delegaciones asistentes.

En su primera jornada, más de tres mil 500 personas, según el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud, visitaron los estands instalados en el parque Los Caobos, en Caracas, donde 13 países participan, cinco de ellos con pabellones como Cuba, Bolivia, Irán, China y Rusia.

La víspera, especialistas abordaron en paneles contenidos de actualidad como la seguridad del paciente, tecnología y salud, y salud postCovid, temática esta última en la que la viceministra de Redes Ambulatorias de Salud, Joicymar Rivas, destacó la cooperación de Cuba, China, Irán y Rusia.

Señaló que los médicos venezolanos y cubanos afrontaron con éxito y más trabajo la situación de la pandemia de Covid-19.

Según la agenda, para este viernes está previsto un panel referido al impacto de los retos comunes a la medicina internacional, en el que Cuba estará representado por el destacado doctor Felipe Delgado Bustillo, especialista en higiene y epidemiología.

Al inaugurar el evento, la vicepresidenta ejecutiva de Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, manifestó que FisVen sirve para el intercambio de experiencias bajo el concepto de ciencias de la salud para todos.

Expresó que contribuirá también a fortalecer el Sistema Público de Salud de la República Bolivariana desde la vivienda, y menciono la Misión Barrio Adentro ‘con el médico en la casa’ en la atención a la familia y a las personas.

Rodríguez aseguró que este es legado dejado por el comandante Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) y que fortificó el presidente Nicolás Maduro.

La también ministra de Economía y Finanzas resaltó que esa Misión, impulsada con la ayuda de Cuba, fue una de las fortalezas para vencer y controlar la pandemia de la Covid-19.

El pueblo venezolano vive otro momento luego de la pandemia, opinó, y mencionó a las naciones que contribuyeron con el envío de médicos, medicinas, equipamiento y tendieron sus manos en los momentos más duros de la enfermedad viral, entre los que mencionó a China, Rusia, Cuba, Irán y Türkiye.

Cuando hubo Estados que lo negaron todo, incluidas las vacunas, estos países ‘brindaron sus manos solidarias’, subrayó.
