Venezuela and Bolivia to sign new cooperation instruments

Caracas, Apr 20 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Venezuela and Bolivia will sign at least a dozen cooperation instruments in strategic areas, which will further strengthen brotherhood relations between both countries and peoples.

Presidents Nicolas Maduro and Luis Arce will participate in the signing of agreements, as announced by Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister for Latin America Rander Peña, during the installation of the 3rd Joint Commission on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Foreign Ministers Yvan Gil, from Venezuela, and Rogelio Mayta, from Bolivia, and they adjusted the details for the signing of the accords on Thursday.

Bolivian Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani stated that the 3rd Joint Commission will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening and deepening bilateral relations of friendship, cooperation and complementarity, allowing progress in the common agenda.

Mamani commented that regardless of the legal aspects to advance in the agreements to be signed, they are also working on the 2023-2028 strategic plan, which will allow practical progress in economic, commercial and social issues, among others.

He pointed out that all ten instruments will make it possible to deepen bilateral diplomatic relations, and said a joint declaration penned by the presidents is expected at the end of the meeting.
