Traffic accidents cause alarm in El Salvador

San Salvador, Apr 28 (Prensa Latina) Authorities in El Salvador are worried and alarmed due to Traffic accidents and fatalities.

According to official reports, the high number of traffic accidents causes more deaths than diseases, criminal groups violence, and other causes.

The Vice Transportation Ministry revealed that 5,484 traffic accidents occurred between January 1 and April 25, 2023, resulting in 3,305 injured and 305 deaths.

According to official data, more than 1,520,380 vehicles circulate daily in El Salvador, mainly in the capital, causing traffic jams and accidents.
