In a letter sent to President Vladimir Putin, Nicaragua condemned fascism that reproduces itself as evil and threatens great and free peoples such as the Russian one.

The enemies of the human family will not prevail, just as they could not triumph in battles in which millions of Soviets “lived the supreme sacrifice and the glory of victories”.

The letter, signed by President Daniel Ortega and Deputy Minister Rosario Murillo, claimed that such recent victories are reaffirmed with best will and commitment, and urged for peace, right to freedom, well-being, as well as the common good worldwide.

According to reports from Russian authorities, in Wednesday´s wee hours, May 3, Ukraine attempted to attack the Kremlin with drones, an action considered by Moscow as an assassination attempt against Putin.
