Death toll rises to 25 on third day of aggression on Gaza Strip

PALESTINA-BOMBARDEO
Ramallah, May 11 (Prensa Latina) The number of dead Palestinians rose to 25 and the wounded about 70, according to preliminary numbers of Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip, today in its third day.

Thursday the Israeli air force attacked two apartments, north of Khan Yunis, killing three citizens, including Major Ali Hassan, an officer in charge of the missile unit in the Al-Quds Brigades.

Faced with this scenario,in the early hours of the morning, the Palestinian resistance renewed the launching of rocket barrages toward the Israeli territories and settlements, while the so- called Israeli Iron Dome was activated to try to stop them.

According to Israeli media, around 500 shells were launched yesterday from Gaza Strip towards Israel. The media also indicated that, after the death of several of Palestinian leaders, the military and security establishment is preparing for a broad response from the Islamic Jihad .

Under the name Revenge of the Free, the joint hall of the Palestinian resistance factions launched its response to the aggression, which began in the early hours of Tuesday morning and is still ongoing.

Amid this scenario, the Arab League Council expressed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people and supported their steadfastness and legitimate right to self-defense and called on the UN Security Council to assume its responsibilities in the maintenance of international peace and security, and to exert the necessary pressure on Israel, the occupying power.
