“Dr. Guinovart: All Cuban provinces will maintain the trend to control Covid-19 cases in the following weeks, although the slight increase in the number of confirmed cases will continue,” a message from the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB) underlines on Twitter.

“Holguin, Las Tunas and Granma (…) concentrate the highest incidence at present (…),” said the Doctor in Sciences, who was quoted by the CIGB.

The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported 11 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths in Cuba as a result of the disease.
