Khartoum is under new bombings despite truce in Jeddah

Khartoum, May 15 (Prensa Latina) The capital of Sudan continued under air and artillery attacks by both sides, despite the recent agreements reached with international mediation in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Friday.

According to local media, one month after the beginning of hostilities, several regions in this city were bombed on Sunday, with an undetermined number of victims.

This time, the actions also extended to the cities of Bahri and Omdurman, in addition to the region of Darfur, in western Sudan.

The Council of Ministers announced the preparation of the airports of Khartoum and Wadi Sidna, and the airport and port in Port Sudan to receive humanitarian aid.

According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, at least 200,000 Sudanese have fled to neighboring countries to escape fighting and violence.
