According to the report from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 319 samples were tested on Monday for a total of 14,358,330 tests, 1,113,926 of which have tested positive since the first case was detected in Cuba in March 2020.
Currently, 278 patients are hospitalized, 148 are suspected cases and 129 are confirmed active cases, 127 patients have a stable clinical evolution, while one of them is seriously ill and another is in intensive care.
No deaths have been reported.
All 25 new cases (10 men and 15 women) were detected in Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Havana, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Ciego de Avila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba.
At the end of May 21, Cuba had administered 44,421,248 doses of the homegrown Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala vaccines, while 10,015,52 people, accounting for 90.7 percent of the Cuban population, have been fully vaccinated.
