University of Cuba extends ties at International Convention

Camagüey, Cuba, May 24 (Prensa Latina) The 3rd International Scientific and Technological Convention of the University of Camaguey has been key to the signing today of several collaboration agreements with Mexico.

Both countries, with an extensive curriculum of scientific exchange, took the opportunity to strengthen ties in various fields during this event, the most important in terms of research at the university.

They did so first through conferences and talks, and then through official signatures.

Colegio Mexiquense, Mexico, Universidad Privada de Huancayo, Peru, the Mexican Association of Political Science, and Universidad América Latina, Mexico, stand out among the institutions involved.

According to the official website of the University of Camagüey, “the agreements will strengthen the institutions, strengthen the students’ competencies, as well as facilitate joint research and projects in different areas of knowledge”.

In turn, it will facilitate the visit of students and professors to the institutions, joint publications, in addition to other academic, scientific and internationalization actions.

In declarations to Prensa Latina, Nelly Caro, professor of the Colegio Mexiquense, said she was “very happy to be able to participate in this section of Gender, Family and Society”.

After giving a lecture on the subject, she said that the Convention is a key event.
