Russia deploys full hydrometeorological satellite constellation

Moscow, May 30 (Prensa Latina) For the first time in the history of national astronautics, Russia has deployed a full constellation of hydrometeorological satellites in geostationary orbit, the Space Agency (ROSCOSMOS) on Tuesday reported.

Geostationary hydrometeorological spacecraft “Electro-L” No. 4, created by the enterprises of the state corporation “Roscosmos”, after the completion of tests in orbit, began to be used for its intended purpose. Ihe constellation is made up of three satellitess.
