Cuba reports 33 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths

Havana, Jun 3 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) on Saturday reported 33 new Covid-19 cases and no deaths as a consequence of the disease in the last 24 hours.

Until June 2, 34 patients were discharged, so the number of recovered people rose to 1,105,599.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,114,309 citizens have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The MINSAP report added that the total number of active patients is 121.

The source noted that one patient is seriously ill and is being treated in an intensive care unit.

According to MINSAP, 90.8 percent of the Cuban population has been fully vaccinated, while 8,743,434 people have been administered booster doses of Cuba’s homegrown vaccines.
