According to Shoigu, on June 4 two brigades of the Ukrainian Army attempted an offensive in five sectors, but failed losing 300 soldiers.
In turn, on June 5, the Ukrainian authorities launched a military attack on seven sectors. Five brigades were stopped. Ukraine suffered tangible losses, the official said.
Shoigu also noted that the third company of the 37th Motorized Infantry Brigade showed special heroism in repelling the Ukrainian attacks, as well as the operational-tactical assault and army aviation which destroyed five Ukrainian tanks and 29 Ukrainian armored vehicles.
The Ukrainian Army losses amounted to 3,715 soldiers and 52 tanks in the last three days.
71 Russian soldiers, on the other hand, were killed and 210 wounded. Plus, the Russian Army lost 15 tanks, nine armored vehicles and an equal number of cannons, Shoigu said.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov informed that the Russian troops launched an attack on one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces´ decision-making centers.
