The measure was requested by General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, chief of the Army, to Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, according to a press release from the high military command.
The information states that Al-Burhan told Minister Farhan that the rebels must leave hospitals, service centers, and homes and allow corridors to open for humanitarian aid.
This is the first response to a request by the mediators from Saudi Arabia and the United States to return to the negotiations to agree on a new humanitarian truce since the last one ended on Saturday.
