Giuseppe Alessandrello -who had been serving as head of the preliminary commission of the Committee- was elected as president, Deputy Jose Gregorio Correa as vice-president, and Julia Martinez as secretary.

Alessandrello said they had been working in advance on the beginning of assessing the rules of the group operation. In addition, they had started the evaluation of the scale to be used to assess those who apply to assume the position of rectors of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

The head also added they submitted the final work schedule, attached to each one of the tasks indicated by the law regarding the time of execution.

The legislator informed that the Committee stated to be in permanent work session in order to comply with each one of the missions set by the law, and finally, be able to show in front of the Parliament’s plenary the citizens’ names who will advance and become eligible to take up the post of CNE Rector.
