This attempt by Cuban counterrevolutionary Tania Bruguera was described as vile and unacceptable, an act that intends to use culture against the Cuban Revolution and try to profane the name of Allende, “fundamentally revolutionary and a friend of Cuba.”
The Accreven considered it contrary to the most sacred and revolutionary concepts that surround the figure of Allende, that expressions or manifestations related to conservative, anti-socialist, retrograde ideas and of proven connivance with the staunchest enemies of Cuba, be exhibited at the MSSA.
That place should be of “worship to sovereignty, independence, liberating and contemporary culture, and the brotherhood between our Cuban and Chilean peoples.”
