At a meeting with representatives of both countries, Hong Dien proposed to analyze the possibilities of increasing cooperation in materials, auxiliary, processing, manufacturing, and renewable energy industries and sectors with high technological content and e-commerce.
The minister stated that the two nations also need to exchange delegations in order to participate in trade promotion fairs and exhibitions and regularly share market information and standards, implemented to lead export and import products of common interest.
Hong Dien stressed that Chile approved the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, which could provide new impetus to increase to a new level of cooperation between the two States .
He stressed the importance of effectively using the Vietnam-Chile Free Trade Council and regularly reviewing specific cooperation contents and the bilateral Free Trade Agreement.
