Montevideo, Jul 20 (Prensa Latina) One year and a few months before the national elections in Uruguay, the majority of surveys repeated here, give the lead today to Frente Amplio (FA), a left-wing opposition coalition.

The last consultation of the Usina de Percepción Ciudadana (UPC), granted to FA 45 percent of the intention of voters if the elections were to be held today.

According to the poll, the ruling Partido Nacional (PN), led by President Luis Lacalle Pou, has 29 percent, ahead of the Partido Colorado (PC, 5.0 percent) and Cabildo Abierto (CA), with 4.0.

These are the main political groups of the government coalition, to which the Independent Party joins, with barely 1.0 percent of the preference.

The study indicated that 3.0 percent said they were willing to vote for other parties, 6.0 would not vote, and 7.0 percent did not know or did not answer the quest.
