As a special guest of the “Encounter with History” space, Cuza -who was also member of July 26th Movement (M-26-6) told the process about planning and execution actions in Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo back then in 1953.

Cuba’s situation with Fulgencio Batista´s dictatorship was very hard; he was a man who already had a history of corruption, murder, relations with the mafia, explained Cuza about the social context of Cuba in the 1950s.

Cuza who has been Chief of the Cuban Navy and First Chief of the Naval Academy, did not join M-26-6 until he was 15 years old.
