At the event’s opening gala, which will end on August 5 in Holguin province, Garcia and Cooper received their deserved award since they had significantly contributed to the film universe in Cuba.
In front of the audience that gathered at the Jiba cinema, the outstanding Garcia thanked for such a recognition adding he was honored to receive the award on Guillermo Cabrera Infante’s and Luis Catala’s soil, the painter whom he plays in a film by Armando Capo.
