Lula rushes no about making changes in government

Brasilia, Aug 3 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva claimed on Thursday he has no rush about wisely making changes in his Government following the Amazon Summit to be held in Belen on August 7 and 8.

In an interview to radio stations in the Amazon region, Lula stated: “I´m going to make some changes in the Government since we´re willing to make up a majority so that, by the end of 2026, the people will be able to vote on the foremost issues of concern for the Brazilian people.”

Under such a scenario, there is expectation that the president redesign his administration to favor the Centrão parties which have a center political tendency in exchange for support in the National Congress.

“I´m not in a hurry, people know what I am going to do and the president has to be too careful and responsible, you cannot place a wrong piece,” Lula stressed.
