Massa and Rossi lead vote intention polls in primary elections

Buenos Aires, Aug 3 (Prensa Latina) Sergio Massa and Agustin Rossi, representing the “Union por la Patria” (UP) alliance, lead the voting intention polls for the primary elections in Argentina with 25.9%.

According to a study, the Economy Minister and his running partner, the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers, would be seconded by Patricia Bullrich and Luis Petri of “Juntos por el Cambio” (JxC), with 20.4%. Javier Milei and Victoria Villarruel would be in third position with 19.1%, which belongs to the ultra-right-wing “La Libertad Avanza” whilst Horacio Rodríguez and Gerardo Morales from JxC are going fourth with 13.9%.

However, if the JxC candidates decide to add votes, they could obtain 34.3% and surpass those of UP which, with the 5.2 points of Juan Grabois and Paula Abal, would register a support of 31.1%.

In the case of Buenos Aires province, Axel Kicillof (UP) would be reelected as governor with 37.8% and a wide lead over the other contenders.
