In his Twitter account, the Cuban leader reminded that the news portal was born “fighting against media terrorism, grew with #Fidel’s Reflections and today expands from @IdeasMultimedio, an innovative platform that brings together youth, talent and commitment.”
Two decades after its founding, Cubadebate constitutes a means of expression for Cuban journalists and those of other nationalities grouped around the Circle of Journalists against Terrorism, committed with space for the exchange of ideas on the aggressions and defamation campaigns organized against Cuba.
After a process of editorial transformation, Cubadebate belongs to Ideas Multimedios; a media entity that directs and coordinates leading media and audiovisual programs such as the Round Table, Fidel Soldado de las Ideas, Con Filo and Cuadrando la Caja.
