According to Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminski, employees of the Maritime Border Guard, in cooperation with the Central Bureau of Investigation for Combating Organized Crime and the Customs Service, confiscated the shipment, which was valued at 45 million dollars.

The security officers decided to examine two suspicious containers with high-quality tropical timber and found the drugs, Kaminski wrote on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter).

In connection with the incident, a 46-year-old man, a resident of Mazovia voivodeship (east), was arrested and charged with participation in an organized criminal group and drug smuggling.
