DPRK criticizes new European decision in Russia-Ukraine conflict

Pyongyang, Aug 28 (Prensa Latina) The Institute for the Study of International Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) criticized the decision of the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway to supply new fighter jets to Ukraine.

The Korean institution pointed out in a statement that since the beginning of the conflict the United States had been cautious about the delivery of American-made F-16 fighters to the administration of Volodimir Zelenskiy; but it finally took off its mask and gave the green light to the supply, via Western European countries.

Washington hastily proceeded with the supply of these fighter jets after seeing the tragic result of Ukraine’s “fearless counter-attack” operation, i.e., countless casualties and destruction of weapons occurred in the West, the note said.

The DPRK recalled that last May U.S. President Joe Biden first hinted at the possibility of delivering the fighters to Ukraine via a third country; and recently, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken promised to do so in the near future.

This decision is the last resort of the confrontation maniacs with Russia who were perplexed by the repeated failure of the counter-offensive by Zelenskiy’s buddies.
