ANTEL’s CEO Gabriel Gurmendez carried out the 5G switch-on in Durazno, capital of central Durazno department.

Gurmendez detailed that 320,000 customers are already connected to the new technology deployed in the country with an investment of US$43 million.

The cutting edge network implies a higher fixed and mobile Internet speed, considered key for the breakthrough of areas such as education, health and entertainment, the executive assured.
