On the occasion of NAM´s 62nd anniversary, KCNA stressed that it is a powerful force opposed to war and imperialist domination, purposes to which it remains attached despite the ups and downs of the times.

It praised the role played by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in strengthening the movement when it was facing severe trials that even put its survival in doubt.

KCNA noted that, under the leadership of General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Jong Un, the DPRK continues to struggle steadfastly for independence, justice and international peace.
