The meeting will allow to work together for the unity and decisive action of southern nations in order to face up present and future challenges.
Leaders and personalities from several nations have already confirmed their attendance to the Summit, which will be held under the slogan “Current development challenges: the role of science, technology and innovation”.
According to MINREX, the G77+China Summit must remain as a “serious, energetic, solid and proactive interlocutor in defense of our rights” as never before.
Made up of 134 member states, the G77 accounts for 80% of the world’s population and over two thirds of the UN membership.
