Angola´s João Lourenço meets with Rwandan, Venezuelan leaders

Luanda, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) Angolan President João Lourenço on Friday held talks in Havana with his Venezuelan and Rwandan Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Paul Kagame, respectively, who attend the G77+China Summit held at the Havana International Conference Center (HICC).

The Angolan leader dealt with Kagame some aspects related to the strengthening of cooperation ties between the two countries, as well as issues of common interest in the framework of bilateral and regional relations.

Meanwhile, in his meeting with Nicolás Maduro, both reviewed important issues for both parties, in addition to the strengthening collaboration to progress in mutual benefit of their peoples.

During the Summit, the Angolan head of state stressed the pressing need for “profound reforms for the international financial architecture and its governance”, so that developing nations can have better access to secure and flexible sources of financing, necessary for investment in science, technology and innovation.

In addition, he called to defend the need to put an immediate end to the unjust and inhumane economic US blockade against Cuba.
