Israeli politicians and activists denounce its colonial policy

Tel Aviv, Sep 23 (Prensa Latina) Israeli politicians and activists accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Saturday of lying to the world and criticized his colonial policy in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In front of an empty hall inside and hundreds of demonstrators outside, the prime minister continues to bombard the world with lies, lawmaker Ayman Odeh posted on the X platform, formerly Twitter.

Odeh alluded to Netanyahu’s address to the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.

As long as the occupation of the Palestinian people continues, no normalization agreement will bring peace, he said.

Former parliamentarian Sami Abou Shahadeh, who denounced the far-right politician’s words, expressed similar terms.

“Netanyahu talking about ‘peace’ means that Israeli arms companies, cyber espionage, and others are celebrating,” Abou Shahadeh said, referring to the talks to establish diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia.

Mauricio Lapchik of the NGO Peace Now, in turn, said that the map shows that the Israeli annexation of the occupied territories is not just a plan but a reality.
