Protests in Syria against US mercenary militia

Damascus, Sep 24 (Prensa Latina) Demonstrations continue for the fifth consecutive day against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the United States, in the municipality of Qamishi, in the northeastern province of Hasakeh, it was reported here on Sunday. Activists quot

ed by various media outlets reported that hundreds of angry protesters and merchants gathered in the municipal roundabout to denounce the illegal and criminal measures imposed by this illegal group and the US forces.

The residents claimed that the FDS troops forced merchants to close their stores while farmers stopped planting their lands.

The irregular group took measures that affect our livelihood while a large number of our young people were forced to flee the areas controlled by the illegal group due to mandatory recruitment, they stated.

Similar protests took place in the towns of Mabada and Amuda, while a general strike was staged in the city of Al-Malikieh.

The SDF dominates most of Syria’s oil-rich Al-Jazeera region and receives weapons, money and training from the US occupation forces.

Popular actions are increasing against the illegal group due to people’s indignation as a result of its criminal practices against the residents and its servility to the United States, in addition to the looting of Syria’s oil and crops.
