Attack on Cuban Embassy in US repudiated in Costa Rica

San José, Sep 25 (Prensa Latina) The Popular Vanguard Party (PVP, communist) of Costa Rica on Monday condemned the vile attack on the Cuban Embassy in Washington, the United States, on Sunday night, when an individual threw two Molotov cocktails at the diplomatic venue.

Members and leaders of the party recalled that it is the second attack in less than three years on the Cuban Embassy, and so far no one has been held responsible for these acts of terrorism against Cuba, its people and its party.

The United States has the luxury of “choosing” which countries collaborate with terrorism, but they are blind to the domestic reality or look the other way so as not to see that it is the main promoter of terrorism, the letter emphasized. From the PVP, we express our solidarity with our brother Cuban people, their Communist Party and their government, it added.

We also demand an end to the criminal blockade against the Cuban people and we also ask that Cuba be removed from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, the PVC stressed.
