Poland complains to Ukraine after missile deaths

Warsaw, Sep 28 (Prensa Latina) The Polish government today complained to Ukraine for what it called lack of cooperation in the case of the missile that killed two people in the town of Przewodów, Lublin region (central-east).

Zbigniew Ziobro, Minister of Justice, confirmed that the device, launched in November, was Ukrainian, and regretted Kiev’s lack of interest in collaborating in the investigation.

The Polish prosecutors’ investigation indicates categorically that this missile was Ukrainian, the minister insisted at a press conference in Lublin, where he stressed that the national authorities cooperated at all times with their Ukrainian counterparts in “important matters”.

However, he added, we note with sadness that there is no similar attitude on the part of Ukraine in this matter.

On November 15, 2022, a missile fell in the locality of Przewodów, in an agricultural facility where two workers were hit by shrapnel and one of them died on the spot.

According to statements from the Polish side, Kiev tried to hold Russia responsible, however the investigation ruled out this possibility.
