Poland establishes air bridge to evacuate its citizens from Israel

Warsaw, Oct 9 (Prensa Latina) The Polish Ministry of Defense announced an agreement with Greek authorities on the use of an air evacuation corridor for its citizens in Israel.

So far, Polish authorities have repatriated some 450 people from Tel Aviv’s airport to this capital.

According to the Ministry, the rescue operation is the largest in scale among all European Union countries following the intensification of the crossfire between Israel and Palestine’s HAMAS movement over the weekend.
