The 30th session of the Cuba-China Intergovernmental Commission validated the special nature of bilateral ties, based on cooperation in all areas, said the Cuban ambassador here, Alberto Blanco.
According to the Caribbean Foreign Ministry, this edition “has contributed to the strengthening and expansion of cooperation in prioritized sectors of mutual interest, such as biotechnology, renewable energy sources, food production, tourism, infocommunications, sugar industry, transportation and trade, among others”.
Cabrisas thanked the support and participation of Chinese entities in different projects that contribute to the National Economic and Social Development Plan 2030 and advocated for the effective insertion of companies from China in the business opportunities that are opening up in Cuba.
As part of his agenda, the also Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment visited in Beijing the facilities of the joint venture Biotech Pharmaceutical Limited (PBL), with important results in terms of biotechnological cooperation.
At another time, he arrived at the headquarters of the JD e-commerce platform, where the island has the Cuban Pavilion of Excellence.
