Cuban Silva wins Pan American judo golden medal

Santiago de Chile, Oct 30 (Prensa Latina) Cuban judo athlete Ivan Felipe Silva on Monday won his Pan American 90kg golden medal.

At the Sports Center, Silva won vs Brazilian Rafael Macedo by disqualification, after judges considered an illegal action.

One of the bronze medals will go to American Alejandro Knauf, who defeated Argentina’s Mariano Coto by ippon.

The other will go to the Dominican Roberto Florentino, better by wazari awasete ippon than the Colombian Daniel Paz.
