On his X account the head of State shared a phrase of Vladimir Ilich Lenin, promoter of the deed, who stressed, “It matters little to know when, in what period and in what nation the proletarians will culminate this work, the essential thing is that the ice has been broken, that the road has been opened, that the direction has been indicated.”

Cuba celebrates the transcendence of that triumph that continues to inspire us, the president noted on X.

The Great October Socialist Revolution was led by the Bolshevik Party under the leadership of Vladimir Ilich Lenin, and was the first of its kind in the 20th century, with the participation of workers, peasants and soldiers through the soviets.
