From the BRICS platform, the debate expands with more than 100 annual meetings so as to discuss regional political issues as well as search for commercial and financial strategies ahead of Western pressures.
On the occasion of the BRICS+ International Municipal Forum, to be held from November 9 to 10 in St. Petersburg, Prensa Latina spoke with Director-General of a company that recruits students to Russia, Fernando Muñez.
“I am happy to help build a dialogue between peoples. As we know, BRICS+ plays an important role in modern geopolitics, as it opens great expectations in development for aspiring member states,” said Munez.
Regarding the work carried out by the student recruitment company Russian University, Munez said there is a high level of interest on the part of Latin American students to enter Russian higher education institutions.
“We´ve been working in this market for more than seven years, we have concluded cooperation agreements with many leading universities in the country and we also offer Russian language teaching programs in Ecuador,” he stressed.
“Everyone knows that our region is constantly developing. Agriculture is the leading industry, there are minerals. Besides, we have a very rich culture, we are authentic. Therefore, I do believe that nations like Brazil, Argentina, Chile and even Ecuador can make a great contribution to BRICS alliance,” he referred.
