Palestinian president denounces Israeli genocide

Ramallah, Nov 9 (Prensa Latina) The president of Palestine, Mahmud Abbas, called today to stop the Israeli genocide against the population of the Gaza Strip, which has been going on for more than a month.

In separate telephone conversations with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, and the Prime Minister of Australia, Antony Norman Albanese, the head of state also expressed the need for an immediate cease-fire, according to local media.

After denouncing the indiscriminate bombing of refugee camps and health centers in the coastal enclave and the West Bank, Abbas stated that the solution to the conflict between the two sides is the recognition of a Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Recently, the Palestinian leader denounced that the Tel Aviv regime not only applies an apartheid policy against the people, but also kills civilians and destroys homes and properties.

On the other hand, in the last hours, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry accused Israel of promoting a media campaign against the population in the occupied territories to justify its genocide in Gaza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in a dispatch, warned against the ‘inflammatory propaganda practiced on a large scale by the occupying state to demonize’ the children of this territory.

The Israeli aggression against demarcations of this Arab country since last October 7 has left a balance of more than 10,800 Palestinians dead so far, of which two thirds are children and women, in addition to a figure of more than 24,000 wounded, according to data from Gazan authorities.
