Russia destroys seven Ukrainian marine drones and speedboat

Moscow, Nov 17 (Prensa Latina) Russia's Ministry of Defense reported on Friday that its aviation had destroyed seven marine drones and a speedboat with a Ukrainian landing party on board that were heading to Crimea in the southwest of the Black Sea.

The Ministry wrote on Telegram that during an air patrol in the Black Sea, near the shores of the Crimean Peninsula, the marine drones and the Willard-type speedboat with a Ukrainian special landing party were detected.

All the targets were destroyed by the marine aviation of the Black Sea Fleet, the press release noted.

Over the past few months, news of Ukrainian UAV attacks on targets in Russia, both in the border areas with Ukraine and in further remote provinces, have been coming in almost daily.

On August 30, drone strikes hit seven Russian provinces, including Pskov, over 700 kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian border.
