Costa Rican Foreign Minister praises democratic process in Argentina

San Jose, Nov 20 (Prensa Latina) Costa Rican Foreign Minister Arnoldo Andre on Monday noted the democratic process in Argentina, which he described as free and without pressures.

Referring to the presidential elections in Argentina, which elected far-right delegate Javier Milei, Andre said that in Costa Rica they are pleased to note that there has been a new democratic process, which is free and without pressure.

It allowed for a struggle of equals and without denunciations of fraudulent actions, he said in statements to Noticias Monumental.

After congratulating the Argentines and their system for having allowed the free expression of their people, he emphasized that he expects to start working together with Argentina. On Sunday, the leader of La Libertad Avanza, Javier Milei, was elected president with 14,473,340 votes (55.69 percent), while the representative of Union por la Patria (UP), Sergio Massa, was voted by 11,513,116 citizens (44.30), according to provisional data.
