Diaz Canel tours agricultural and livestock areas in central Cuba

Santa Clara, Cuba, Nov 24 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, in his capacity as deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament), began a tour in agricultural and livestock farms in Santa Clara, in the center of the country.

Among other productive areas, the Cuban president tours the farm of farmer Yunier Hernandez and that of Yulexis la Rosa, a former outstanding catcher of the Cuban national baseball teams and the orange one of the Cuban province of Villa Clara.

Diaz-Canel also plans to meet with workers of state-owned micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) of Copextel (a Cuban company belonging to the Group of the Electronic, Automation and Communications Industry).

He will also visit new production plants such as the plastic recycling plant and a queen bee center, among others.

On his tour throughout the municipality of Santa Clara the Cuban president will be accompanied by other deputies and authorities of the government and from the Cuban communist Party of this central province.
