In a meeting Vice President of the National Assembly of People’s Power Ana Maria Mari Machado, at Havana’s Capitol building, Faysal denounced Israel’s genocide against Palestine for over 70 years, and stressed, “the Palestinian cause is the cause of all persons worldwide who love freedom.”
Faysal unfolded that this is a very difficult moment for Palestine, since at least 16,000 people have been killed in Gaza since October 7, including about 6,000 children and 4,000 women; over one million have been displaced and thousands of injured and missing people have been counted under the rubble.
He stated that Cuba is an example of resistance to the US policy and the cruel economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed over 60 years ago in an attempt to overshadow the successes of the Cuban people.
Faysal, representative of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon denounced the U.S. support to Israel’s aggression, death and extermination, in violation of the United Nations Charter and other international laws.
